    • 40% of employees experience persistent stress or excessive anxiety on a daily basis

    • Over 60% of employees with chronic stress that impacts their performance still won’t discuss it with their employer for fear of how they will be perceived or how it will impact their jobs

    • 2 out of 3 employees say they are not engaged in their jobs

    • 77% of working professionals have experienced burnout at their current jobs, and over half of the workforce say they are suffering from burnout right now

  • The Costs of Business as Usual

    • Stress and related health issues cost employers $300 - $500 Billion annually due to absenteeism, lost productivity, turnover, and increased health care and liability costs

    • 56% of employees report that stress and lack of well-being negatively impact their performance and the quality of their work

    • 51% of employees say that chronic stress and anxiety impacts their relationship with their colleagues and superiors. Of these employees:

      • 53% say they often become short-tempered at work

      • 43% actively avoid participating in team meetings

      • 46% of employees say they would accept another job offer if they had the chance

  • Engagement and Well-Being Drive Performance (right through the roof)

    • Employees with better health habits are 27% less likely to miss work and 25% more likely to perform better at work

    • Highly engaged workplaces saw 41% less absenteeism and 21% higher profitability

    • For every dollar invested in wellness programs, employers recoup between $1.40 and $4.60 from absenteeism, health care costs, and productivity losses

    • Employees who are engaged and report higher well-being are:

      • 45% more adaptable to change
